Assistant Construction Project Manager for a general contractor. Our top client currently has an opportunity available for APM to support their latest commercial projects. The APM will be an integral player in the management of the flow of information between the general contractor, the owner, and other project stakeholders and help with design assistance and the approvals process.

Construction Project Manager Assistant/project Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Processing of payment request and changrequestss
• Project design
• Communicates with super/
• Tracks and validates approvals of Hard Copy documentation from project stakeholders
• Provides regular RFI and Submittal status updates to project stakeholders
• Vendorsews the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to A / E comments
• Ensures that all appropriate documents are posted to the project database and provides assistance to vendor as needed
• Maintains project RFI and Submittal registry and tracks each through to closure

Skills / Qualifications Of Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer

• Strong judgment and flexibility
• Experienced in working with multiple leads across various disciplines to solve problems and improve processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• 1-5+ years of construction management experience preferred and recent college grads encouraged to apply also with are internships,
• Experience with commercial projects is a plus
• Effective organised national and communication skills
