Clinical Research Data Analyst

LHH is working with a top client in the Greater NYC area to add Clinical Research Data Analyst to their team. Salary based on experience will range from $80-90K/year plus health care benefits including medical, dental and vision options.

THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY

The Clinical Research Data Analyst is responsible for the management and coordination of new and existing clinical research projects under the direction of the Director of Research. The analyst will contribute to the development and implementation of study procedures to ensure all activities are performed according to Good Clinical Practice. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: administrative, compliance, clinical operations, data management, and the research budget.

Administrative/Regulatory:

• Maintenance of enrollment and accrual spreadsheets
• Tracking of IRB approvals and expirations
• Presentations for Investigators and Site personnel/Sponsor training and Research Meetings
• IRB submissions
• Organization and maintenance of eTMF in Research Folder: protocol, ICF, all essential documents
• Tracking of site activity

Operations:

• Provide input into creation of study workflow processes
• Coordinate with multiple Client Relations, Sales, Lab, Marketing, Accounting
• Recruitment and enrollment of sites
• Ensure internal approvals received prior to study start
• Monitor site performance for compliance and data integrity
• Study start-up activities

Data Management:

• Administration and management of EDCs, including creation of eCRFs, study configuration, and UAT
• Training of sites and Sponsor personnel on EDC
• Data entry
• Creation and interpretation of study management reports
• Manage user accounts and provide support to sites
• Data monitoring
• Query management

Budget:

• Resolution of any identified issues
• Creation of invoices for approval by DOR
• Coordination and tracking payment requests and payments rendered
• Creation and interim review of research budget

Education and Experience

• Strong interest in Clinical Research
• Experience with clinical research data analysis and manuscript preparation strongly preferred
• BA in related science/healthcare concentration
• Minimum 3years’ experience in a related healthcare position

Qualifications & Competencies

• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians and staff
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong planning skills
• High Advanced Proficiency with Power BI, Excel and SQL.
• Ability to handle a high volume of tasks within an established timeframe
• Critical thinking and problem solving including reading, analyzing and interpreting data
• Ability to prioritize
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proactive, adaptable and flexible
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of organization
• Solid skills in data entry, monitoring /QA and data analysis/statistics
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture systems and data management
