Goals
As a remote manager of our Client Services Team, you will work directly with our founder and President, Jacob, and the client team and manage all client administrative processes for our Morgan & Westfield 4-Step Method for selling a business. This diverse role involves managing the four steps, which are highly streamlined and documented, and executing each process with sound judgment and attention to detail.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
You will work with a small, cohesive, high-performing team that is responsible for managing all of our client interactions and processes from start to finish. Your primary objective is to ensure that our client processes run smoothly, accurately, and on time. You will be responsible for managing the entire process with the client from beginning to end; creating and analyzing documents, managing all email communications and other elements of the processes, and making strategic decisions. You will also be responsible for creating, improving, testing, and simplifying our operational and quality control processes to improve workflow speed, quality, and consistency. You will:
Team Leadership and Management
- Coordinate team activities, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
- Set clear performance goals, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Lead and manage a team of M&A client analysts.
Client Relationship Management
- Manage end-to-end interactions with clients - including client management and communications, document creation and analysis, and proactive transaction management.
- Create, interpret, and analyze management reports, financial reports, offering memorandums, document templates, presentations, and other documents.
Business Development
- Create and improve internal operating processes and quality control through usability testing, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions.
- Provide input and recommendations for product and service enhancements based on client feedback and user tests.
- Manage one-time (ad-hoc) projects with other teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- No conflicting obligations since this is a full-time role
- Home office with high-speed internet and noise-canceling headset
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- US business hours (semi-flexible hours possible)
- 3 to 5 years experience in M&A, corporate finance, business, consulting, professional services, finance, legal, or other related fields
- Proactive, flexible, and adaptable
- Tech-savvy, organized, results, and detail-oriented with sound judgment.
- Strong understanding of all aspects of small business - marketing, finance, operations, etc.
