Business Analyst / Systems And Compliance

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Business Analyst provide analysis support for the System Protection and Control organization within an enterprise regional utility. This individual will provide research and analysis of historical data from the database of System Protection and Control equipment, in addition to design of processes and forms to track a variety of NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) requirements and compliance efforts.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is based in Vancouver, WA and is hybrid with work performed onsite one day weekly.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or a closely-related technical field is preferred.
5 years of experience is required with a Bachelor's degree in applicable fields.
7 years of experience is required with an Associate's degree in applicable fields.
9 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
Related experience must include minimum combination of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training.
Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of business analysis and demonstrate proven skills in process analysis, re-engineering and optimization.
5 Years' Experience In The Following
Business workflow and data workflow management.
Asset management, analyzing operational data, and developing actionable strategies.
Modeling business process requirements, verification of deliverables.
Logical process modeling concepts sufficient to aid in the documentation of requirements.
Experience in preparing for or participating in external audits.
Conceptualizing and planning initiatives for data integration, gathering, and organizing.
Technical writing skills and the ability to present information in various forms such as textual, graphical and statistical.
Researching and designing queries in a variety of data systems such as custom databases and PowerBI (or similar).
Proficient level proficiency with MS Excel (conditional formatting, pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookup calculations).
Intermediate proficiency with MS Word (creating reports, procedures, and templates using styles, tables, and templates).
Intermediate proficiency in SharePoint (creating sites, pages, forms, views, picklists and workflows).
Experience organizing cross functional meetings.
