Role Description Our Athletic Center Supervisor assists the Recreation & Athletic Center Manager with supervising daily operations of the Athletic Center, Cascade Pool, Studio and recreation amenities at Brasada Ranch. This includes Club access, member & guest poolside activities, rental operations, retail, building maintenance, safety quality and efficiency of operation. You are responsible for assisting with the hiring, training and supervising of lifeguards and Athletic Club guest service staff and ensuring consistent, safe and high quality guest service standards. You participate as a leader in building teamwork, effectiveness of services and the overall character of the resort experience. Our Athletic Center supervisor works cross-departmentally to achieve one of our number one goals: to create a guest experience of a lifetime. You will be encouraged to use your creativity and customer service skills to help lead a team that our guests rely on to get the most out of every moment of their stay at Brasada. You will be expected to have the ability to hit the ground running and quickly become an expert on Brasada and all our offerings. General Responsibilities Supervises the daily operations of the Athletic Center, Cascade Pool (adult only pool) & Studio facilities including but not limited to sports equipment rentals, poolside operations & safety, daily fitness programs, supply orders, operation cleanliness & organization. Adheres to the enforcement, regulation, training, and accountability for Club Access policies and procedures as it applies to The Athletic Center, Cascade Pool and Studio. Maintains a friendly and sincere service culture through leading by example & modeling and coaching expected behavior. Oversee organization, routine maintenance, tracking of the outdoor rental operations including bikes, fishing poles, and miscellaneous sports equipment Maintain accountability for processes and procedures to ensure cleanliness, product quality and consistent guest service delivery is achieved in all areas of the Athletic Club, Cascade Pool, and Studio operations. Exhibit a high degree of competence in knowledge of aquatic safety and overall enforcement of safety in all aspects of the operations. Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations & codes for all areas of the Athletic Club. Maintains accurate records of attendance, registration, and waiver forms, and cashiering that satisfies administrative and accounting needs. Assist Athletic Center Manager with the ordering and design of retail products while maintaining accurate monthly inventory reports to satisfy administrative and accounting needs. On-going training with all Athletic Club staff with an emphasis on cross-training. Full comprehension of Springer Miller Systems (property management system), Alice resort concierge software, Jonas resort/club management, and all other relevant property support systems as necessary. Maintains positive working relationships with management and supervisors of Brasada Ranch to ensure proper communication and accuracy of information. Communicates daily with guest service staff within the Athletic Club to ensure knowledge of occupancy, department communications, and hours of operation, signature events, and daily operations across the resort. Process knowledge of Oregon's predictive scheduling laws and assist with scheduling as needed. Assists Athletic Center Manager with hiring, scheduling, onboarding and training team members within Athletic Center, Cascade Pool, and Studio operations. Effectively communicate with all departments of hours of operation, activities, and protocols Maintain an active presence in and around poolside operations, fitness programs, and events to ensure guest and member satisfaction Other duties as assigned by management Skills/Traits Business, Recreation or Physical Education degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years full-time supervisory experience in a related position 2-3 years of experience in educational, recreational, or related areas which include working with children of various ages Background or experience in seasonal and holiday recreational events and activities Background or experience in weight training, group fitness instruction and nutrition desired Office equipment and proficient computer skills to include, Windows Programs, MS Excel, Word & Publisher Knowledgeable of Springer Miller and Jonas resort / club management desired Certifications / Licenses CPR/First Aid OLCC Server's Permit (willing to obtain) Food Handlers Permit (willing to obtain) Lifeguard Certification (willing to obtain) Job Posted by ApplicantPro
