Job Description

Associate Project Manager - Retail / Merchandising (hybrid contract)

Great opportunity for an Associate Project Manager to join a global Fortune 50 client!


You will manage multiple Retail Store Merchandising Reset projects, with a focus on project planning.


This is a 9 month hybrid contract (possibility of extension or conversion to perm). You must work in the Marietta office 3 days/week (Mon, Tues, Wed) and can work remotely 2 days/week (Thurs, Fri).


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage projects; ensuring toll gates are met on time / within budget
  • Audit project readiness in web-based system
  • Place labor, outbound, and direct-to-store orders
  • Work as a liaison between field stakeholders and cross-functional corporate HQ stakeholders
  • Assist field partners with scheduling / managing one-off issues
  • Gather and collect info from store field partners for project creation
  • Manage post reset implementation projects


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Detail-oriented and excellent communicator
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFs Pivot tables, Macros)
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager/Coordinator (mid level)
  • Experience identifying data trends/key insights and making subsequent data-driven recommendations for improvement to Management or Executives
  • Experience managing/owning full lifecycle projects (non-IT)
  • Process Improvement experience
