Job Description

Duties:

Responsible for coordinating and supporting projects with various degrees of complexity and scope.

May serve dual roles to not only manage projects within authority level but may also be responsible

for the delivery of services as part of the Identity Management projects and program. Assists in

performing business analysis and preparing project and/or program documentation. Works in

conjunction with project owners to ensure quality service delivery. Strives to maintain and foster

successful relationships with Pacxa’s clients, where applicable, and internal teams in the organization.

Assists development team with the delivery of new projects and ongoing application

enhancements and fixes. Helps to communicate and coordinate with the project team to ensure

service requests, issues, and inquiries are responded to in a timely manner. Reports and escalates

issues or concerns to the program director or Pacxa management as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or IT related discipline required or 1 to 3 years’ experience in

project coordination, change coordination, or providing IT consulting services.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • A plus but not required:

o Basic understanding of project management methodologies and use of project management

tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, MS Teams, JIRA, SharePoint, and Flowchart tools).

o Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies such as

waterfall Agile / Scrum, hybrids, and SDLC methodologies.

o Process modeling and business process documentation experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent client-facing and internal verbal/written skills communication skills.
  • Results-oriented; positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in PC navigation and windows-based software application skills.
  • Knowledge of and skill in the following:

o effective communication

o time management and scheduling

o project coordination or management

o collaboration and team work

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license and use of own vehicle required.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands

and arms; and talk or hear as applicable for remote and computer related tasks.

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth

perception, and ability to adjust focus as applicable to computer related tasks.

Work Environment (Remote):

  • Be able and willing to work beyond a normal eight-hour day and occasionally on weekends, as

needed or necessary.

  • Be available by phone or email, after business hours, to respond to immediate needs or

emergencies.

  • Be available to meet at the Company’s headquarter offices for company events, team meetings,

or as otherwise requested by management.

  • Must live on the island of Oahu.
