We're looking for a collaborative Assistant Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. As the onsite Owners Representative in Queens Village, NY, you'll be responsible for analyzing and developing reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, project controls, and on-site management of General Contractors as needed. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the client by applying proven project management techniques. Excellent communication skills as this position is client facing. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking; contract document review; forecast scheduling and costs; preparation of change order review; and the review of payments
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, project delivery methods
  • 6 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of building/rehabilitation projects and a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Superintendent or a Project Engineer on projects valued above $5 million
  • Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will be dependent on clearing a background check

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Experience managing projects within existing occupied facilities

Typical salary range for this position is $87,360 to $126,000 is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
