Our top client currently has an opportunity available for an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support their latest ground-up commercial projects. In order to monitor and maintain construction timelines and guarantee that the project stays within budget, we are searching for a well-organized assistant superintendent. The assistant superintendent is also in charge of ensuring that on-site health and safety regulations are observed.

Assistant Construction Superintendent Responsibilities

• Uphold strict workmanship standards and abide by the original designs and specifications
• Assist in supervising every stage of a building project, from design to execution
• Provide resources to the designated initiatives
• Interact with clients, city and county authorities, architects, engineers, contractors, and project inspectors
• Negotiate order costs with contractors to receive fair payment
• Helping to oversee on-site employees and subcontractors

Assistant Construction Superintendent Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction management on public projects costing more than 20 million
• Powerful negotiating abilities
• A working knowledge of construction management software
• Powerful leadership skills
• Someone with experience who wants to work in Massachusetts is needed
• Construction-related or college-educated preferred
• 1 to 5 years of construction experience
• Deadline-driven and meticulous
