Tekberry, a Bloom Energy premier staffing partner, is looking for highly qualified and motivated Assembly Technicians in Newark, DE. Bloom's unique on-site power generation systems are among the most efficient on the planet, providing significantly reduced operating costs and producing dramatically lower greenhouse gas emissions.
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for manual component assembly, equipment operation, and additional related duties.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions
• Use designated inspection equipment to inspect completed work.
• Torch and visually inspect material for quality.
• Select proper materials to complete standard work.
• Separate and scrape material in order to recover viable product.
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to understand and recognize defects on assembly line. Track and report defects to lead/supervisor for part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.

Education & Experience

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination is needed.
• Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools, previous experience with PC-based testing equipment is preferred.
• Prior mechanical assembly desired.
• Strong trouble-shooting skills required.
• 1 year minimum experience in a high capacity manufacturing environment.
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
