Job: Analytical /Organic Chemist - Lab Manager Assistant

SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for conducting researching, analysis, synthesis, and experimentation on substances, for such purposes as product and process development and application, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and improvement of analytical methodologies by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Conducts research on manufactured products to develop and improve products.

· Conducts research into composition, structure, properties, relationships, and reactions of matter.

· Identifies needed equipment, and develops formulas, processes, and methods for complete resolution of the assigned task.

· Analyzes organic and inorganic compounds to determine suitability.

· Confers with scientists and engineers regarding research, and prepares technical papers and reports.

· Prepares standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job will lead to supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master of Science or higher education in Analytical /Organic Chemistry or related field is required

· Experience with analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC-MS, and spectroscopy

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
