Administrative Receptionist Jobs

Full-Time, Monday - Friday

$18 -$19 hourly

Helen Woodward Animal Center is seeking a full-time Administrative Receptionist to join our Admin team! In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and visitors to our Administration Building. Reporting to the Executive Assistant for our CEO, this role is primed to make an impact at all levels of the Center. The ideal candidate is outgoing, communicative, organized and able to make quick, sound decisions.

Job Duties

• Assist fellow employees and other departments as needed
• Provide quality customer service to clients and all other visitors at all times
• Answer inbound phone calls to the Center's main line
• Maintain compliance with Center policies and procedures including departmental, safety, and personnel policies
• Promptly respond to all communications, including face to face contacts, phone calls, email, voicemail, written communications and faxes
• Effectively communicate Center policies and procedures to the public in a positive manner
• Maintain excellent record keeping at the front desk

You Should Have

• The ability to work in both a team and self-directed environment
• Familiarity with multi-line phones
• 6+ months customer service experience
• Receptionist experience a plus
• Time-management and organizational expertise
• Basic computer knowledge
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
