Job Description
Applying for the full-time Administrative and Data Entry Specialist position at Families Forward, a Fedcap program in New York, NY, is an exciting opportunity to join a customer-focused team that values empathy and building confidence in others.

YOUR LIFE AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE AND DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST


In this clerical role at our nonprofit, your role is pivotal in the success of our program. Your primary responsibility is to maintain contact with participants, ensuring that their documents are submitted on time. With your exceptional organizational skills, you keep track of participant attendance, enter customer and account information, and promptly respond to inquiries.


You also play a crucial role in assisting the career services team by arranging supportive services for participants and developing sector-specific resumes. Your ability to keep our office running smoothly is vital, as you collect necessary documents, complete compliance paperwork, schedule appointments, and attend to general office duties such as faxing, copying, and filing.


Additionally, you facilitate assessments for our participants, providing them with accurate instructions. Your typical work schedule is a day shift at the office from Monday through Friday. Your meticulous attention to detail is evident in the accuracy of your work, and it is a key factor in why you excel in this clerical position at our nonprofit.


WHAT WE NEED IN AN ADMINISTRATIVE AND DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST?


  • 1+ years of satisfactory full-time administrative support experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Covid-19 vaccination
