Meta is seeking an Infrastructure Accounting Analyst - Network and Connectivity (contract) who can move fast and learn quickly to help establish new processes and scale existing processes for our fast growing Network and Connectivity investment portfolio. You should be able to work well with cross functional teams, provide accounting and process guidance for decision making, as well as being able to support the end-to-end operational, close, and reporting processes for the subject areas. The successful candidate will be a highly driven, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels.

Job Responsibilities

● Support end-to-end accounting processes for Facebook’s fiber construction and lease investments.

● Review and maintain fixed asset subledger for fiber assets.

● Prepare internal financial reports for business partners.

● Assist in interpreting and applying accounting standards to new and ongoing agreements in order to ensure accurate financial reporting.

● Work closely with financial planning and other finance teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies through effective communications and execution.

● Ensure work is in compliance with SOX controls.

● Support invoicing process for third party sales and loan repayments

● Understand how systems work to drive improvements and automation where possible. Suggest ways to implement IT solutions in the subject areas.

● Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

● BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance or related field

● 4+ years of accounting experience in a high growth environment

● Technical and operational knowledge of U.S. GAAP

● Experience in optimizing or designing new and existing processes

● Experience in system implementation to support fast growing business

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion

● CPA or equivalent
