About The Opportunity


  • You will handle the financial aspect of private, commercial, and industrial real estate sales, rentals, and purchases
  • They have extensive experience in most real estate sectors with an emphasis in retail, entertainment, and mixed-use projects
  • We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to a Boston, MA-based and one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry


Property Accountant Responsibilities


  • Reviewing account records such as credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings, and cash receipts to ensure accurate accounts
  • Review accounts payable vouchers for maintenance/repair costs
  • Complete general ledger entries and manage cash balances
  • They prepare monthly and quarterly closes for buildings and properties


Property Accountant Qualifications


  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Proficient with property management/accounting software, Yardi preferred
