Pharmacy Packaging Technician Jobs

Promptly reports deviations, discrepancies, and abnormalities to management and assists in determining root cause and identifying corrective actions.

Manages inventory of cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and utensils.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Clearly document activities performed and maintain a clean facility.

Unloads procured materials from delivery vehicles, inspects materials for quality defects, and labels materials with system generated labels.

Conducts material identification testing and prints reports.

Must have electrical, electronics, pneumatics, and welding skills and experience

Must have basic computer skills

Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of measurement and weighing systems

Must have strong knowledge of packaging equipment and packaging process or mechanical aptitude

Must have strong knowledge of Food Safety, Regulatory, and Good Manufacturing Practices

Adaptability/Flexibility – Maintaining effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities and people.

Follow Master Batch Records for the packaging of controlled, oral solid dose (OSD) and other dosage forms when required.

Perform weight checks for incoming and dispensed materials ensuring compliance with established procedures. Operates scales including set-up, verification, leveling and challenging.

Identify, report, and resolve quality issues.

Safely and in compliance with batch records and SOPs, set up, operate, and clean packaging equipment.

Perform in-process testing and inspections as required by Master Batch Record (weighing, tablet thickness, tablet hardness, friability, visual inspection, etc.).

Clean and sanitize packaging equipment including walls, floors, and ceilings per SOPs.

Must satisfactorily complete all requirements for Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician I

Develop skills necessary to work with and clean all semi-automated and automated pieces of equipment

Understands GMP gowning and de-gowning requirements for each production area (primary, secondary and potent packaging suites) and ensures compliance

Clinical trial packaging or related manufacturing/operations experience preferred

Ability to work in a team environment, high attention to detail and above average organizational skills.

Mechanical/Technical Certification OR equivalent minimum 2 years working experiences

Minimum 2 years working experience as packaging technician in electronics & optoelectronic industry.

Must be hands on person with fine motor skills, good in doing mechanical assembly and put parts together.

The role will require communication skills and willingness to work with teams spread across different organizations.

Experience in cleaning wafers using probe station station is a plus.

Self motivated requiring minimal supervision after adequate training.

3+ years of industrial experience in semiconductor/optical packaging

Experience keeping lab supply/materials inventory and organizing equipment/tool usage

Good communication skills, self-driven, with the flexibility to work independently or under general guidance or direction

Experience with operating packaging tools, such as high precision, flip-chip bonding, wire bonding, die shear, wire pull, etc.

Experience with wafer level photonics packaging is a plus

Experience with high precision active alignment is a plus

Experience working in a clean room environment is preferred.

Experience working in a Medical Device manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or another regulated environment preferred.

Experience working in an environment that has gone through Lean process changes preferred.

Basic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals, required.

The Assembly/Packaging Operator 1 will be responsible for using equipment to package finished products according to established specifications.
