Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields

CDL B Drivers averaging $70,000-$85,000 plus Bonus

Early AM runs, Truck preloaded

Drivers will unload freight at each stop

Monday through Friday with some Saturdays

Possessing a current CDL Class "B" MD Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

No experience needed- we train!!

Deliver to local convenience stores, gas stations, large grocery stores, and various other customers.

Average of 15 deliveries a day

Delivery drivers are responsible for invoicing and basic communication/interaction with the customer

40-50 hours per week as needed. Some weekend availability is mandatory

Pay: Commission Based, the more you deliver the more you make.

Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled, and stored according to requirements

At least one year of experience driving and/or handling materials

Knowledgeable of DOT regulations required

Good attention to detail and math skills to handle inventory on daily basis

Solid interpersonal and communication skills

Early morning starts approx. 3am

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.

Knowledge of the truck and its components and the basic maintenance Requirements: for safe operation

Manage assigned Helper(s) if applicable.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.

Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate

Hand-held electronic data entry device skills helpful.

Drives truck to deliver full line of food products to pre-determined customers on a pre-determined route.

Unloads product from delivery equipment, delivers product, and checks product in with customer representative.

Listens to and assists in resolving service complaints. Places stock in proper temperature zones.

As a world-class company we are looking for Class B Local Route Delivery Truck Driver based in Chesapeake, VA

Shuttle and Delivery routes covering a 7-day operation.

5-day work week with 2 days off together

Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)

Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.

12 months commercial driving experience

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

What you will do - Essential responsibilities

Carry out daily equipment inspections to ensure our transport operations run smoothly and safely

Manual 35' Class B Flatbed Truck (Local Pick Up & Delivery Using Fork Lift )

Up to $33/hr based on experience and certifications

Operate a different heavy duty trucks on a variety of projects

Review daily job sheet and clearly follow directions

Pre Trip inspections of the trucks

Assisting crews on daily jobs

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Effectively communicate work status to supervisor/dispatcher and offer cooperation to maximize truck time utilization

Self-starter, ability to work independently, under pressure to meet deadlines, and offer adaptability with changing priorities.

Successful class B commercial driving experience (internal trainee may be consider, however, must hold appropriate license and have acceptable driving record)

Receive product at magazine sites and properly stores in inventory.

Load product from magazine to appropriate distribution vehicle.

Unload product to appropriate ground crew at job site.

Other duties assigned by Management

Special Skills. Must maintain a valid operator’s license and meet driver requirements.

Experience. 1 year’s experience driving.
